Winter-Spiced Pomegranate and Clementine Sangria

Clementine
2 small, halved, thinly sliced into half-rounds
Lemon
1 medium, thinly sliced
Cinnamon sticks

Star anise

Cabernet Sauvignon red wine
1 bottle(s)
Cranberry juice cocktail
1 cup(s)
Pomegranate juice
1 cup(s)
Orange-flavoured liqueur
¼ cup(s), such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau
Unsweetened flavoured seltzer
1 cup(s), lemon lime flavour
Pomegranate seeds
½ cup(s)
Instructions

In a pitcher, combine clementines, lemon, cinnamon sticks, star anise, wine, both juices, and liqueur. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Just before serving, stir in seltzer. Serve sangria over ice and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
