Dark brown sugar
2 tbsp(s), unpacked
1 tbsp(s), white
2 tsp(s), melted
- Position rack in center of oven and preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix strawberries, sugar, vinegar, vanilla and melted butter in a 9-inch square baking dish. Bake until strawberries are soft and sauce is bubbling, about 20 minutes. Serving size: 1/2 cup
Just remember the rule: If a fresh strawberry doesn’t smell like anything, it probably won’t taste like much.
