Our sweet and sour dipping sauce goes great with homemade chicken nuggets, air-fried egg rolls, or your favourite turkey or beef meatballs. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Swap in sugar-free apricot jam, if desired.

Ingredients

Reduced-sugar apricot jam

Apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp(s)

Cornstarch

1 tsp(s)

Low sodium soy sauce

1 tsp(s)

Mustard

1 tsp(s)

Table salt

¼ tsp(s)

Garlic powder

¼ tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the preserves, vinegar, cornstarch, soy sauce, mustard, salt, and garlic powder; stir in ¼ cup water. Puree the mixture with an immersion blender until smooth.
  2. Cook the mixture over medium heat until bubbly and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
