Use this rub to give a sweet-and-sour tang to pork dishes.

Ingredients

Unpacked brown sugar

2 tbsp(s)

Table salt

1 tbsp(s)

Cumin seeds

2 tbsp(s)

Dry mustard

1 tbsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Blend ingredients well and rub on meat half an hour before cooking. Makes 1/3 cup - enough for 4 to 5 pounds of pork. Store leftover mixture in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
