If you love bloody Marys but don’t make them in the summer because they seem too hearty for hot weather, the michelada is right up your alley. Classic versions of the cocktail combine tomato-based vegetable juice with lime juice and beer for a lighter, spritzier effect. And our version adds a splash of orange juice for even more freshness. Enjoyed in a tall glass full of ice, it’s a refreshing alternative on a sweltering-hot day.
