Summer Garden Pita Pizza

Ingredients
Whole wheat pita
1 large
Store-bought pizza sauce
4 tbsp(s)
Bell pepper
3 tbsp(s), red variety, diced
Frozen corn
3 tbsp(s), thawed or fresh
Tomato
3 tbsp(s), seeded and diced
Red onion
2 tbsp(s), minced
Fresh basil
2 tbsp(s), minced
Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
4 tbsp(s)
Store-bought balsamic glaze
2 tsp(s)
Instructions

Preheat broiler.

Place pita on baking sheet. Broil 5 inches from heat until lightly browned, 30–60 seconds on each side.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Spread pita with pizza sauce and place on small baking sheet. Top with pepper, corn, tomato, onion, and basil. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake until heated through, 8–10 minutes. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve at once.
