Your kids might not be thrilled with a dessert like this one, but almost every adult will be! The plums take on a sweet/sour finish that pairs beautifully with the rosemary. Make sure you mince those rosemary leaves into tiny bits, rocking a knife through them repeatedly on a cutting board.

Ingredients

Plum

4 item(s), small, red or black, halved and pitted

Balsamic vinegar

2 tbsp(s)

Unpacked brown sugar

3 tbsp(s)

Rosemary

1 tbsp(s), minced

Instructions

  1. Position rack in center of oven; preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place plums, cut-side up, in a 9-inch square baking dish. Drizzle plums with vinegar. Sprinkle brown sugar and rosemary over plums.
  3. Roast until sauce is bubbling and plums are tender, about 20 minutes.

Serving size: 2 plum halves.
