old-fashioned rolled oats
- Bring 250 ml (1 cup) water and pinch of salt to boil in small saucepan set over medium heat.
- Stir in 125 ml (1⁄2 cup) old‐fashioned (rolled) oats.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until water is absorbed and oats are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Makes 175 ml (3⁄4 cup).
