Slow Cooker Sausage with Potatoes and Apples
Uncooked baby potatoes
1½ pound(s), red, halved
Chicken apple sausage
12 oz, sliced
Granny Smith apple
2 large, peeled and cut into 1-in pieces
1 medium, yellow, vertically sliced
No-salt-added chicken stock
2 tbsp(s), chopped (optional)
- In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine the potatoes, sausage, apples, and onion. In a medium bowl, stir together the stock, cider, mustard, salt, and pepper; pour over potato mixture. Tuck the bay leaves down into the liquid.
- Cover and cook over low heat until the potatoes are tender, 6 to 7 hours. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
