This unique snack is similar to a super delicate brittle but savoury instead of sweet with egg white keeping the sunflower seeds together instead of sugar. Break it up into small or large pieces and store them in an airtight container on the counter for up to 5 days. Try snacking on the larger pieces and using smaller bits as a crunchy salad or soup topper.

Cooking spray

Canola oil

Chili powder

Ground cinnamon

Dry-roasted salted sunflower seeds

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil; coat with cooking spray.

In medium bowl, beat egg white, oil, chili powder, and cinnamon until frothy. Add sunflower seeds and toss to coat.

Spread in an even layer on prepared pan; bake 10 minutes. Turn sections of seeds over with a spatula and continue to bake until golden, about 5 minutes.

Let cool completely, then break into desired size pieces.
