Sauteed green beans
uncooked string beans
1 pound(s), trimmed
fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp(s), chopped, or other herb of choice
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of green beans and cook, stirring frequently, until tender, 3 to 5 minute (add a few tablespoons water if needed). Transfer beans to large bowl. Repeat with remaining green beans. Add salt and pepper to beans and toss to coat. Add squeeze of lemon juice and/or sprinkle of basil, chives, oregano, parsley, tarragon, or thyme, if desired, and toss to coat.
