Ingredients

Plain air popped popcorn (prepared without oil)

10 cup(s)

Coconut oil

1 tbsp(s), divided

Nutritional yeast

2 cup(s), large flake variety

Ground turmeric

¼ tsp(s)

Onion powder

¼ tsp(s)

Garlic powder

¼ tsp(s)

Table salt

1 tsp(s)

Vanilla extract

¼ tsp(s)

Unpacked brown sugar

1 tbsp(s)

Maple syrup

1 tbsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Prepare popcorn according to package directions. Divide between two bowls.
  2. Mix the nutritional yeast (nooch), turmeric, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt together in a small bowl. Melt 1/2 Tbsp of coconut oil and pour over one of the bowls of popcorn. Sprinkle with nooch mix.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the remaining coconut oil, and whisk in vanilla extract and brown sugar, and maple syrup until a syrup forms. Pour the sugar syrup over the remaining plain popcorn and toss. Mix the two popcorn flavors together and serve.
  4. Serving: 1.5 cups
