Ingredients

uncooked onion(s)

1 large, chopped

uncooked new potato(es)

¾ pound(s), quartered

uncooked baby carrots

4 oz

uncooked tapioca

1 tsp(s)

uncooked skinless cornish game hen

2 whole, cut in half, and frozen (omit wing)

fat-free reduced sodium chicken broth

1 cup(s)

dried parsley

½ tbsp(s)

dried rosemary

½ tsp(s)

dried thyme

½ tsp(s)

garlic clove(s)

4 clove(s), medium, minced

Instructions

  1. Put onions, garlic, potatoes, and carrots into a 4-to-6 quart crock-pot. Sprinkle tapioca over vegetables. Place frozen chicken pieces on top of vegetables.
  2. Pour broth over chicken; add parsley, rosemary, and thyme. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours or high-heat setting for 4 hours.
