This java creation is more like a sweet treat than an average cup of joe. It packs quite a caffeinated punch, so use decaf if you don't want a jolt.


Ingredients
Dark brown sugar
⅓ cup(s), packed lightly
Ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp(s), or to taste (or 1 cinnamon stick)
Black coffee
½ cup(s), grounds
Fat free evaporated milk
3 cup(s)
Vanilla extract
½ tsp(s)
Water
1 cup(s)
Instructions

Bring water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil. Add coffee and turn down heat; simmer for 5 minutes.

While coffee is simmering, heat evaporated milk in microwave on low or over a very low flame; do not let it boil.

Strain coffee through a coffee filter. Add vanilla and heated milk; stir. Yields one cup per serving.
