Uncooked 93% lean ground turkey

Canned diced tomatoes
14½ oz, 1 (14 1/2-oz) can
1 stalk(s), medium, chopped
Dark brown sugar
Plain hamburger bun
6 bun(s), whole-wheat, split and toasted
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm oil. Add turkey and cook, breaking apart with wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer turkey to a 5- or 6-qt slow cooker. Stir in all remaining ingredients except hamburger buns. Cover and cook until flavors blend and sauce is slightly thickened, 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
- Spoon about 1/2 cup turkey mixture into each hamburger bun.
