Lemon-Ginger String Beans

Ingredients
Olive oil
2 tsp(s)
Garlic
2 clove(s), large, minced
Ginger root
1 tbsp(s), fresh, minced
String beans
3 cup(s), fresh or frozen and thawed
Fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp(s)
Table salt
⅛ tsp(s), or to taste
Black pepper
⅛ pinch(es), freshly ground, or to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium or medium-low heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute. Add string beans and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and 2 teaspoons zest; cover and steam until string beans are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Yields about 3/4 cup per serving.
