Nothing spells summer like fresh cherries. Here, they’re layered into parfaits for a lovely end to almost any meal off the grill.
1 pound(s), sweet, like Rainier or Bing, pitted and halved
Plain fat free Greek yogurt
- Combine cherries, sugar, almond extract and salt in a bowl; set aside at room temperature so cherries release some of their juice, about 15 minutes.
- Mix yogurt and honey in a second bowl. Layer yogurt mixture and cherries in parfait glasses or white-wine glasses.
Serving size: 3/4 cup.
