Easy ranch dip
1 clove(s), medium, peeled
Light sour cream
Reduced calorie mayonnaise
⅓ cup(s), fresh, chopped
2 tbsp(s), Italian (flat leaf), chopped
⅛ pinch, freshly ground, or to taste
White wine vinegar
1 tsp(s), fresh lemon juice and/or water to taste
- Put the garlic clove on a cutting board; sprinkle with salt. Finely chop garlic and then scrape it with the side of knife until a paste forms; place in a small bowl.
- Add sour cream, mayonnaise and water; stir until smooth. Stir in chives, parsley and pepper until blended; cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour for flavours to blend. Thin out with vinegar, lemon juice and/or water if desired.
- Yields about 2 tablespoons per serving.
