This frozen treat is as simple as the press of a finger. Whirl a few refrigerator and freezer staples like chocolaty fudge bars, rich coffee ice cream and ice-cold milk in a blender with a ripe banana for the added body and natural sweetness it provides. If not serving the shakes right away, simply portion individual servings in ziploc bags (or other containers), seal, and freeze. Thaw a portion overnight in the fridge so it is ready to sip when a craving hits. A scoop of protein powder turns a single serving into a convenient meal-on-the-go.

Ingredients

No sugar added light ice cream

1¼ cup(s), coffee flavour (about 4 scoops)

Chocolate-covered ice cream bar or stick
