Pickle lovers rejoice! Here's a way to make sandwich "bread" from just 2 ingredients, pickles and cheese. When baked together in thin layers the cheese crisps up and cements the pickle slices together to create a large, crunchy, pickle-y square, perfect for layering your favorite sandwich fillings. Our favorite combo? Avocado, tomato, and turkey.

Ingredients
Kosher dill pickle sandwich slices
6 slice(s)
Reduced-fat cheddar cheese
4 tbsp(s), divided
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Arrange 1 tbsp of shredded cheese in a thin layer in the shape of a 3-inch by 3-inch square. Repeat with another tbsp of the cheese.
2
Blot the pickle slices very dry with paper towels. Place 3 pickles slices on each square of cheese in a single layer. Top each square of pickle with 1 tbsp of remaining cheese in a thin layer.
3
Bake 25 minutes, until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool at least 5 minutes.
4
Makes 2 "bread slices."
