These zesty veggies are a great make-ahead side dish that tastes even better the next day!

Ingredients

Olive oil

4 tsp(s)

Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp(s)

Unsweetened orange juice

1 tbsp(s), or lemon juice

Hot pepper sauce

2 tsp(s)

Tomato

2 medium, plum, diced

Garlic

2 clove(s), large, minced

Uncooked green snap beans

¾ pound(s), trimmed and cooked until crisp-tender

Fresh basil

1 tbsp(s), chooped

Black pepper

tsp(s), or to taste

Table salt

tsp(s), or to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together oil, Worcestershire sauce, orange or lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce.
  2. Stir in vegetables, basil, salt and pepper; chill for 1 hour or overnight. Divide into 4 portions and serve.
