When you want something crunchy, whip up a batch of these Asian-influenced snacks. Create your own flavours by experimenting with wasabi powder, teriyaki sauce, etc.

Ingredients

Wonton wrapper

20 item(s)

Cooking spray

2 spray(s)

Low sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp(s)

Ground ginger

½ tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF.
  2. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray and place wonton wrappers on sheet in a single layer. Bake for 2 minutes; remove from oven. Flip wrappers and bake for 1 minute more.
  3. Meanwhile, combine soy sauce and ginger in a cup. Remove wonton wrappers from oven and using a pastry brush or clean paint brush, brush soy mixture over wrappers. Bake wrappers for 1 minute more. Remove from oven and place wrappers on a wire wrack to cool. Yields 5 crisps per serving.

Notes

Try crumbling the crisps over salad for a flavour and texture boost. Or crumble the crisps and use them as a bread crumb replacement when preparing baked chicken or fish.
