This oily fish is a great source of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. It has a rich flavour that also works well with fresh parsley or thyme and rosé wine.

Ingredients

Uncooked arctic char

1 pound(s)

Table salt

¼ tsp(s)

Black pepper

pinch(es)

Fresh tarragon

1 tbsp(s), minced

Salted butter

1 tbsp(s)

White wine

¼ fl oz

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler to high.
  2. Place fish on a small rimmed baking pan; rub all over with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with tarragon and dot with little pieces of butter; pour wine over fish. Broil fish until no longer translucent in its thickest part, about 8 to 10 minutes. Yields about 3 ounces of fish per serving.

Notes

You can also grill the fish on high for 8 to 10 minutes.
