Probiotic-rich kombucha (fizzy fermented tea) works well for lighter cocktails because it’s low in sugar and calories. It comes in lots of flavors, too, which allows you to play around with inventive combinations. Here the peppery kick of turmeric pairs beautifully with juicy-tart apple cider. Turmeric colors the cocktail a gorgeous golden-orange hue, which you can accent with the apple garnish that floats in the glass—going for a complementary yellow apple, contrasting red or green apple, or a combination of colors.

Kombucha
2 cup(s), organic and raw, tumeric flavour, chilled (16 fl oz)
Apple cider
2 cup(s), chilled (16 fl oz)
Vodka
1½ cup(s), chilled (12 fl oz)
Fresh lemon juice
¼ cup(s), (2 fl oz)
Apple
1 small, thinly sliced
Instructions

In a 2-quart pitcher, combine kombucha, cider, vodka, and lemon juice. Pour into glasses and garnish with apple slices.
