Egg roll wrappers replace pie dough, a lower-fat option that—when air-fried—cooks to a super-crispy texture. The fresh apple filling reaches perfect tenderness quickly in the microwave, with lots of cinnamon and just a touch of sugar to enhance the flavour. Though it will be tempting to bite in immediately, it’s best to let the rolls cool for a couple of minutes, as the filling will be very hot right out of the air fryer.
