Cornmeal makes this breading crunchy right out of the bag, so you don’t need to fry the food in oil to get that satisfying crunchy texture when you take a bite. It’s all-purpose, so that means you can use it on just about anything, including fish, chicken, shrimp, and even tofu!

Ingredients

All-purpose flour

1½ cup(s)

Yellow cornmeal

1½ cup(s)

Garlic powder

1 tbsp(s)

Onion powder

1 tbsp(s)

Paprika

1 tbsp(s)

Kosher salt

2 tsp(s)

Black pepper

1 tsp(s), coarsely ground

Cayenne pepper

½ tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. In large container with lid, add all ingredients. Cover and shake to mix. Store in airtight container for up to 6 months.
  2. Serving size: 1/4 cup
