T.L.T with Avocado
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 tsp unpacked brown sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp smoked paprika (smoked variety)
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 3 oz tempeh
- 4 slice(s) Weight Watchers (Canada) Multigrain Bread
- 1 1⁄2 tsp vegan mayonnaise
- 1 medium fresh tomatoes, thick slice
- 1⁄4 head(s), small lettuce
- 1⁄2 item(s) California (Hass) avocado
- 1 gm alfalfa sprouts, 1 pinch
- 1⁄2 tsp table salt
- 1⁄2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp, chopped uncooked red onion(s), sliced
- 1 tsp whole-grain mustard
Instructions
- Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and tempeh and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Set a sauté pan over medium-high heat and sear tempeh on each side for 2-3 minutes.
- Build sandwich by adding remaining ingredients.
