T.L.T with Avocado
Ingredients
1⁄2 tsp unpacked brown sugar
1⁄2 tsp smoked paprika (smoked variety)
3 Tbsp soy sauce
3 oz tempeh
4 slice(s) Weight Watchers (Canada) Multigrain Bread
1 1⁄2 tsp vegan mayonnaise
1 medium fresh tomatoes, thick slice
1⁄4 head(s), small lettuce
1⁄2 item(s) California (Hass) avocado
1 gm alfalfa sprouts, 1 pinch
1⁄2 tsp table salt
1⁄2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp, chopped uncooked red onion(s), sliced
1 tsp whole-grain mustard
Instructions
Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and tempeh and marinate for 20 minutes.
Set a sauté pan over medium-high heat and sear tempeh on each side for 2-3 minutes.
Build sandwich by adding remaining ingredients.
