This sweet take on nachos is a great snack or dessert to share with a friend. Double or triple it for a bigger group, or halve it when you want it all to yourself.

Ingredients

Sliced almonds

2 tbsp(s)

Apple

1 medium, such as Gala, sliced about ⅛ inch thick

Peanut butter (salted, with oil and sugar)

1½ tbsp(s)

Mini semisweet chocolate chips

1 tbsp(s)

Unsweetened coconut flakes

2 tbsp(s)

Instructions

Heat a toaster oven or standard oven to 350°F. Spread the almonds on a sheet of foil or a baking sheet and bake until toasted, about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, arrange the apple slices on a serving plate. Put the peanut butter in a small microwave-safe cup and microwave on High for 30 seconds or until pourable.

Drizzle the peanut butter over the apple slices, then sprinkle with the chocolate chips, coconut, and sliced almonds.
