This pizza tastes fancy without requiring a lot of effort. It pairs flavour-rich toppings with a store-bought crust to create a memorable meal fast. This recipe is inspired by two Italian favourites: prosciutto cotto (ham that’s been cooked, not cured) and Gorgonzola, a lovely, creamy, blue-veined cheese with a strong, piquant flavour. The crushed red pepper adds a lovely hit of heat, but you can omit it or increase it, depending on your tolerance level. Adding the basil once the pizza comes out of the oven adds a welcome fresh finish. Pair this with a simple arugula salad tossed with a light vinaigrette.
