WEIGHT WATCHERS NAMES MICHAEL KORCUSKA CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
Former LinkedIn Executive to Lead Product Vision and Transformation

NEW YORK (November 1, 2017) – Weight Watchers International, Inc. (NYSE: WTW) today announced that Michael Korcuska has been appointed Chief Product Officer. In this role, Korcuska will lead product transformation and seamlessly integrate an overall product vision into the digital and physical worlds. He will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Mindy Grossman and will join the Executive Committee.

Korcuska joins Weight Watchers from Greylock Partners where he provided counsel to its portfolio companies as Executive-in-Residence. Prior to his tenure at Greylock Partners, Korcuska was Vice President of Product Management at LinkedIn where he oversaw LinkedIn’s expansion into China and led the product team for the e-learning website Lynda.com, the company’s largest acquisition at the time.

Korcuska will be based in the company’s San Francisco office and will work in close collaboration with Chief Technology Officer Michael Lysaght.

Prior to LinkedIn, Korcuska spent 20 years at the intersection of technology and education. He was Executive Director of the Sakai Foundation, an open-source, non-profit association of universities working to produce a teaching and learning software platform, and Chief Operating Officer for Employment Law Training, a leading compliance training provider. He held leadership roles at online learning companies DigitalThink and Cognitive Arts, and served on the board of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), which focuses on developing talent in organizations. Korcuska has a master of science degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and a bachelor of science degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
