What is Foundayo?
Foundayo is an FDA-approved oral GLP-1 for weight loss, from Eli Lilly, the makers of Zepbound®. Now accessible through Weight Watchers Med+.
In a recent study, Foundayo delivered an average weight loss of 11.2% body weight in approximately 1 year.*

How does it work?
Foundayo is a GLP-1 medication, which the body naturally produces to regulate insulin and control blood sugar. It also works in the brain to curb food noise, and in the gut to slow stomach emptying.
Those taking a GLP-1 medication may feel less hungry, have fewer cravings and thoughts of food, and feel more full after a meal and between meals. A GLP-1 medication can even support better blood glucose stability.
Is Foundayo covered by insurance?
Your Med+ Care Team will work directly with your insurance provider to help you navigate your coverage of this GLP-1 medication. The cost of the medication is not included as part of the Weight Watchers Med+ membership and insurance coverage may vary.
At this time, our Insurance Coordinators can only work with commercial insurance plans.
This means that members with government-sponsored insurance, those on a Kaiser plan, or those without insurance will need to consider one of the following options: (1) pay out of pocket for a GLP-1 medication or (2) if clinically eligible, use a non-GLP-1 medication that is included in the cost of a Weight Watchers Med+ membership.
If you continue, you will be evaluated for the membership-included medications to see if your Clinician thinks you're a good fit, or choose to pay without insurance for GLP-1 medications.
