Why I WW: I lost 120 lbs in 2011 on a reality TV show. I navigated maintenance well before getting pregnant with my first baby in 2016. After a tough pregnancy, 3 miscarriages, and a surprise pregnancy at 47, I'm now two years postpartum and figuring out what my body needs. I'm focusing on strength and balanced eating with the WW program. It's helped me hit my body fat percentage goal in the last month. I eat all my points—the program works when you work it!
My Non-Negotiables: I don't go to bed anxious. If I'm feeling anxious, upset, or off, I practice breathwork and read something positive to put me in a good headspace. When we're feeling chaotic and out of control, it's easy to live in overdrive - leading to tossing habits out the window and neglecting self-care. Oh, and I get my protein in. PERIOD.
My Go-To Strategy: I always set two attainable non-negotiable goals for myself a day that I KNOW are possible - like water and a minimum protein goal. This provides positive reinforcement to keep going and allows me to keep these habits alive even if the day falls apart. I look at tracking as a diary of foods that holds the key to what your body responds to. We are our greatest science experiment!
My Vibe: I love to focus on mindset shifts, behavior change, and accountability wrapped in connection and FUN. I enjoy teaching the science of weight loss in tangible bites to empower others to enjoy the ride. Losing weight and getting healthy isn't boring if you surround yourself with others and shift your mind while keeping your sense of humor.
