Why I WW: I've always struggled with my weight and was settling in a body that didn't feel like mine. After feeling at an all-time low, I saw my doctor and was prescribed a GLP-1 for my PCOS and weight management. My very first week I lost 6.8 pounds and cried! I started sharing my experience on social media and realized I wasn't alone in this fight. My community grew, I joined Weight Watchers for additional support, and the rest is history! I'm down 122 pounds, have maintained my goal weight for over a year, and I'm in the era of maintaining!
My Non-Negotiables: The holy trinity: hydration, protein, and fiber! Moving my body is also non-negotiable. I truly feel my best when I have a good playlist or YouTube vlog going with a walk or gym moment. Even if all I can squeeze in is a 15-minute workout, I have to do something 4-5 days a week.
My Go-To Strategy: I focus on nourishment over numbers! My goal was to have a healthier relationship with food. For me, that looks like only looking at the nutritional benefits I'd be gaining (protein, fiber, etc.). Eating COLORFUL helps a ton too! I take pictures to fight body dysmorphia—pictures show you what the scale can't. I don't compare myself to others; the only person I compare myself to is who I was the day before.
My Vibe: I coach like a bestie who's done the work and just wants to see my friends win. I'm honest, encouraging, realistic (and funny!). If it were a playlist, it would feel like confidence, comfort, healing, and main character energy. Headphones on + cute workout set combo. Life may be lifing, but we're good!
