Spaghetti Squash 101

Spaghetti squash is the original zoodle. The scraped out flesh looks and acts (kind of) like, what else, spaghetti.

Luckily buying spaghetti squash is simple. The first thing to do is make sure it has a dry, rounded stem and isn’t cracked. Once you locate squash that fit that bill, examine the vegetable and make sure it is firm, dry, and the rind is free of soft spots. What’s more: the skin should be very thick and hard.
