The non-dairy creamer that made our experts do a double take (in the best way)

Coffee with cream is one of life’s little delights — something that elevates a regular ol’ cup of joe into a treat. So it’s no surprise that we heard from readers that once you found a coffee creamer that works for you, it’s going to take a lot to get you to stray from your beloved standard. But since coffee is a daily habit for most java drinkers, mixing it with a serving of half and half (a mix of whole milk and cream) every day, or multiple times a day, can mean unwanted saturated fat that adds up.

So, we poured, we splashed, and we sipped and — after some caffeine jitters — can confidently say we are nuts for nutpods! Specifically, nutpods® Almond and Coconut Creamer. That’s because this creamer is unsweetened, dairy-free, and doesn’t use any artificial sweeteners — yet still feels rich and thick because of the coconut cream. It works well in a hot cup of coffee as well as in iced or cold brew. “As someone who typically uses whole milk or half and half in my coffee, the creamy texture was surprisingly satisfying,” says Laura Weissbart, head of program and food. The creamer is also zero Points for a tablespoon, and even if you prefer a heavier pour, up to 5 tablespoons only runs a single Point.

Trust us — give it a try and see if you go nuts, too.
