Weight loss and your social life
Follow these tips so you can focus on the fun.

On WW, nothing is off limits—including parties! It's true, parties often involve food which can lead to some challenging moments. (How many SmartPoints are a pig in a blanket? Answer: 2. And yes, it's worth it.) But you can lose weight without losing your lifestyle! Here are five ways to keep your weight loss, and your social life, on track.
1. Save your rolled-over SmartPoints.
When you know you have a big event coming up, up to 4 unused SmartPoints can be rolled over each day into your bank of weekly SmartPoints. That way when the event arrives, you’ll have plenty of SmartPoints to enjoy!
2. Focus on low-SmartPoints and ZeroPoint™ foods before the party.
By leaning on ZeroPoint foods throughout the day, you can enjoy a wider range of foods at the party while still staying within your Budget.
3. Bring a WW-friendly dish to your friend’s dinner party.
If you’re attending an event that’s being held at someone’s house, don’t be shy about contributing to the meal by making a low-SmartPoints dish or platter that you know your friends will also like. That way, you’ll always have a go-to plate of food that you can choose from, and can track easily and accurately after the event. Check out our ideas below!
4. Put some distance between you and the food.
When there’s a continuous supply of finger food just ready to be nibbled, make a conscious effort to stand as far away from it as possible. There's a correlation between standing closer to the food source at a social function and eating more than planned, maybe because it makes it easier to eat mindlessly. (It's right there.)
5. If you’re heading to a restaurant, plan ahead.
Research the menu so you know which dishes work with your Budget. And when you get there, make it your mission to order your meal before anybody else. Subconscious peer pressure is a real thing, and it's easy to be swayed by other people’s choices. So place your order before you have a chance to hear what other people are getting.
