Wheat-Bix breakfast trifles
Impress the family with this new take on classic wheat biscuits, layered with creamy yoghurt and tangy berries.
1 tsp, finely grated
3 individual, crumbled
¼ cup(s), (40g)
99% fat-free, plain or natural yoghurt, unsweetened
1¼ cup(s), (300g)
- Place berries and rind in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook on High (100%) for 2 minutes or until warm. Reserve 1 tablespoon berry mixture.
- Combine wheat biscuits and half the pecans in a small bowl.
- Spoon berry mixture into two 1-cup (250ml) capacity glasses. Top with half the yoghurt and all the wheat biscuit mixture. Top with remaining yoghurt, reserved berry mixture and remaining pecans. Serve.
