For a twist on cookies and cream ice-cream, just add a few pieces of pretty pink turkish delight.
Reduced fat vanilla ice cream
Biscuits, chocolate chip, reduced-fat
Middle Eastern Restaurant Turkish delight
60 g, finely chopped
250 g, hulled, chopped
- Place ice-cream in a bowl. Add cookies and Turkish delight and stir to combine. Transfer mixture to a 20cm x 9cm loaf tin. Cover with foil and freeze for 3 hours or until firm.
- Scoop ice-cream into four ¾-cup (185ml) capacity serving glasses and top with strawberries. Serve.
TIP: Dip a knife or scissors into plain flour before cutting Turkish delight to stop it sticking to the blade.
