Sweet bursts of and oats drizzled with maple syrup and toasted until crunchy. Why buy muesli when you can make it yourself?

Ingredients

Rolled oats, dry

2 cup(s), (190g)

Sunflower seeds

¼ cup(s), (70g)

Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

½ cup(s), (40g)

Sultanas

¼ cup(s), (30g)

Maple syrup

½ cup(s), (160g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Place rolled oats, pepitas, sunflower seeds, sultanas and maple syrup in a medium bowl, combining well. Place mixture on a baking tray and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden.
  2. Allow mixture to cool for a few minutes, then serve ¼ cup (40g) toasted muesli per person. Toasted muesli can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes

SERVING SUGGESTION: Enjoy with a 150g tub of vanilla yoghurt and ½ cup (115g) fresh or frozen raspberries scattered over the top.TIP: Feeding a large family or have a busy schedule coming up? Double the quantities to make a larger batch that will see you through the entire week.
