Seed and nut sprinkle
Make your own nut and seed blend to sprinkle over cereal or salads for an extra boost of fibre and nutrients.
Linseed or flaxseed
⅓ cup(s), (50g)
½ cup(s), (½ cup)
⅓ cup(s), (55g)
Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
¼ cup(s), (50g), pepitas
45 g, (¼ cup)
- Place linseeds in a spice or coffee grinder and process until crushed but not powdered.
- Process nuts in a food processor until chopped (don’t over-process as nuts will turn into a fine meal).
- Combine linseed, nuts, pepitas and chia seeds in a bowl.
TIP: Store seed and nut sprinkle in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 months.
