Pile creamy eggs on grainy bread and enjoy with fresh-cooked mushrooms. A divine start to the day!

Ingredients

Mushrooms

100 g, button variety, halved

Olive oil

1 tsp

Egg(s)

2 medium

Wholegrain bread

1 slice(s), toasted

Instructions

  1. Pan fry mushrooms with olive oil until golden. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  2. Whisk eggs and milk in a medium jug. Pour egg mixture into the same pan and cook, stirring, until cooked to your liking. Top toast with eggs and mushrooms.

Notes

TIP: Try substituting the mushrooms for halved cherry or grape tomatoes to accompany the scrambled eggs.
