Sarah's Vegemite and cheese twists
Reduced-fat puff pastry
1 sheet(s), thawed, (1 x 170g sheet)
Light mozzarella cheese
¼ cup(s), grated, grated, (30g)
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Spread Vegemite evenly to coat whole pastry sheet. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Fold pastry in half and press down firmly.
- Remove plastic from pastry sheet. Using a pizza cutter, cut pastry crosswise into 18 strips. Working one at a time, twist each strip by holding both ends and twisting pastry in opposite directions.
- Bake twist for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, until crisp and golden.
Cook's Tip: You can also cook these in an air fryer at 180°C for 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
