Sarah’s mini apple pies

Reduced-fat shortcrust pastry
1 sheet(s), (180g) just thawed
Canned apple slices (100% apple)
230 g, pie variety
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly spray 4 holes of a ⅓-cup (85ml) capacity muffin tin with oil.
- Cut pastry into 4 squares. Press each square into prepared muffin holes, allowing excess pastry to hang over sides.
- Spoon apple into pastry cases. Fold excess pastry over filling to enclose. Sprinkle tops with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden.
Pie apple slices are available in the tinned fruit section of the supermarket. VARIATION: Swap apple for 1 cup canned pear in natural juice (drained, chopped).
