Hommus is made with tahini (sesame seed paste)and blended together with chickpeas, olive oil, cumin and lemon juice.
Wholemeal lavash bread
2 cup(s), (4 large leaves)
Deli-sliced roast beef
100 g, (4 slices)
10 small, (grape), quartered
½ small, thinly sliced
- Place the lavash on a flat surface. Spread hommus onto half of each piece, leaving a 1cm border. Top each with lettuce, beef, tomato and onion. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Roll up each lavash, starting from the short end nearest the filling. Serve.
TIP: Wrap securely in foil after rolling in Step 2. Refrigerate until lunch time.
