Parmesan and chilli kale chips
If you have never tried kale chips you need to try these parmesan and chilli ones. The kale becomes super crispy when baked and lightly flavoured with melted cheese. They make for a perfect light snack.
1 bunch(es), (150g), curly variety
Grated parmesan cheese
Dried chilli flakes
Fresh lemon rind
2 tsp, finely grated
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
- Remove and discard tough stems from kale. Tear leaves into small bite-sized pieces. Combine kale, parmesan, chilli and rind in a large bowl. Spread kale mixture over prepared trays and lightly spray with oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until crisp. Cool slightly before serving.
TIP: Kale chips are best eaten straightaway.
