Lemon and garlic steamed asparagus
Sometimes the simplest things are the most enjoyable. Lemon and garlic taste great on anything but here they really bring out the fresh flavour of the spears.
2 bunch(es), trimmed
1 clove(s), crushed
Fresh lemon rind
1 tsp, finely grated
- Boil, steam or microwave asparagus until tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic clove and finely grated lemon rind and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add asparagus and toss gently to combine. Serve.
