Hot chocolate fudge sundae

Indulge your inner child with a traditional combination of bananas, ice-cream, nuts and chocolate sauce.


Ingredients
Pecans
18 g, (2 tbs)
Dark chocolate
60 g, good-quality, chopped
Skim milk
2 tbs
Vanilla bean extract
1 tsp
Reduced fat vanilla ice cream
125 g, (4 small scoops)
Banana(s)
2 small, sliced diagonally
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Place pecans on a baking tray and bake for 5 minutes or until golden. Cool to room temperature and coarsely chop.

Combine chocolate, milk and vanilla in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.

Spoon ice-cream into sundae glasses or bowls. Serve topped with banana slices, hot chocolate fudge sauce and pecans.
