Ingredients
Olive oil
1 tsp
Brown onion
1 medium, coarsely grated
Canned diced tomatoes
400 g, (400g can)
No added sugar apple puree
110 g, (110g jar)
Apple cider vinegar
60 ml, (¼ cup)
Molasses
2 tsp
Smoked paprika
1 tsp
Granulated stevia sweetener
4 g
Instructions

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook onion, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until softened slightly.

Add tomatoes, apple puree, vinegar, molasses, paprika and sweetener. Stir to combine. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Set aside to cool slightly before blending with a hand-held mixer. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a 1 cup (250ml) sterilised jar. Seal and store in fridge for up to 1 week.
