Heirloom tomato caprese salad
Liven up a traditional Italian salad with a medley of tomatoes. The colour makes this an irresistible side!
400 g, mixed medley heirloom
110 g, buffalo
- Slice tomatoes in half and arrange on a platter. Tear the mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and layer in between tomato slices. Top with basil leaves.
- Combine the vinegar and oil in a small bowl and pour over the salad. Season with pepper.
TIP: Add it: 4 x 40g slices rye sourdough bread to serve . Swap it: Buffalo mozzarella for baby bocconcini cheese (torn).
