Hazelnut and vanilla mug cake
5 minutes in the microwave and you have yourself the most delicious, light and fluffy cake you can enjoy any day of the week. Custard compliments the flavours perfectly without piling on the PersonalPoints.
1 medium, ripe, mashed
1 medium, lightly beaten
Dry vanilla dessert or pudding mix
2 tsp, (see tip)
Reduced-fat vanilla custard
- Mix banana and egg in a small bowl. Add hazelnut meal, dessert mix and baking powder and stir to combine.
- Spoon mixture into a microwave-safe mug. Microwave on Medium-High (70%) for about 4 minutes or until set in centre. Serve with custard.
Ingredient tip: You can find vanilla dessert mix (sometimes labelled as instant pudding) in the baking aisle in major supermarkets.
